NINTEEN74.COM has seized a moment; we’ve simply compiled an array of ideas and talent into a truly magnificent online publication. There’s no denying that Schön! will force you through a deep magical rapture, while arousing your senses like an optical rollercoaster. Throughout this journey be prepared for some creative whiplash that will really blow your mind away.
Our very first issue is packed with super-fabulous fashion spreads from all over the world. We want to project the creative talent and aesthetic styles from little stars and unrecognised places.
This feature also plays on the theme and notion of ‘Sexy’ and what it means to us. They say it’s a physical or an emotional trait that’s neither pretty nor ugly, but it can represent one’s style; maybe it’s something that we can’t perceive such as one’s attitude, confidence or passion. However, just like Schön!, sexy can be described as ‘less is more’ and if it were to be depicted through pictures, this is what it would look like…

A mixture of old and modern.
This image summarizes the voyage of death, seen as the transition into a new state, the ending of a cycle; just like the card number XIII of the Tarot. Outside a small niche, death doesn’t look frightening… It looks like something natural, and even providential. Like in a train station, blue dress speaks to the viewer about night, the end of the day?
But somehow it looks relaxing, quiet, telling us to connect with our inner selves. Blue also speaks about wisdom, intelligence, faith, truth; about eternity. Just where we’re all flying to, like the model who is levitating into a new era, with her personal history inside her suitcase, a red happy hat, and a dress that wraps her around hope, harmony, justice, and peace. Ahead there’s a time where new ideals are going to be important to society. A time of lightness, and this photograph is a piece of our trip to this new destination.
